For inequalities, please write:
Three sentences on things you have learned since the pretest.

Two sentences on things you found interesting.

One or more sentences on questions you still have.

This will be used to shape instruction tomorrow.

Keep it clean and specific for the kids. This is a grade.

Please put your name as your last name, first initial.

Since the pretest I've learned that you're suppose to switch the sign of the inequality when multiplying or dividing by a negative. I've also learned how to properly graph inequalities. The third thing I've learned is how to rewrite inequalities when switching the side of the variable. One thing I found interesting this chapter is how multiplying or dividing by a negative affects the inequality. I never knew that happened. I don't exactly have a question but I would like to see an example or two on the empty sets or real numbers.

I have learned that if you multiply or divide by a negative # then the sign flips. I learned how to simplify inequality equations. I also learned that the alligator must follow its original #. I found the alligator interesting. Also the negative number rule. I still need more info on the real numbers and the empty set.

I learned how to flip the inequality. I also found out How to graph an inequality. Then I found out it is very similar to a regular equation. Something interesting about inequality is that you have to flip the sign when multiplying or dividing. Also that you can graph it. One question is who comes up with these problems?

I have learned how to graph inequalities, which I learned last year. I also learned when to switch the sign. And I learned how to flip the inequality around. I find this whole unit interesting because it is fun. But I really like just solving them. I still need some help on graphing inequalities because it can be confusing

sense the pre test I have learned that you have to switch the sign when dividing or multiplying. I have also learned how to graph the inequality's. the third thing that I learned is how to solve the problem. I found graphing the inequality interesting. also how the multiplying and dividing effects the equation. one question that I have is that can we do more practice on the set numbers.

Since I’ve taken the pre-test, I have learned a lot about inequalities. Some things I learned on the way, were remembering to change the sign of the inequality, when multiplying or dividing by a negative number. Secondly, another thing I learned was graphing inequalities, by looking at the sign and what direction it goes. Lastly, I learned how to notice when adding like terms, when both like terms are in the same side. 2 things I found interesting was how simple it is to solve inequalities, if you really pay attention to the lesson. The last thing I found interesting was the different methods on how remembering what signs face what direction. A question I have is, are we going to be having an exam after Christmas break?

Three things I've learned since the pretest are that if you have an greater or equal than sign when graghin an equation on a line the circle is open. I learned that if you divide or multiply by a negative you switch the sign. I also learned that equalities can be solved like multiply step equations. I found it interesting that you switch the sign in a problem just because of a negative. I also found it interesting that empty sets would be so easy. I didn't expect that. I also have a question about why number five on my sheet won't line up with something.

I learned how to switch the inequality to the other side when multiplying or dividing by a negative. I also learned that solving inequalities isnt much different than solving normal algebra equations. I thought it would be a lot harder than it really was. I thought that was interesting because sometimes it looks a lot harder than it really is. Another thing I found interesting was that the sign has to be switched if multiplying or dividing by a negative or positive.
One question I have is when is the test going to be?

One thing I learned since the pretest is that when dividing you must flip the sign. You also have to be aware of when you have negative numbers. Surprisingly I find this unit pretty intriguing and would like to become good at it. One thing I'm still having trouble with is the graphing part. Its a little confusing

I have definitely learned a few things about solving inequalities. One thing I learned was not to over think them and solve like a regular equation. The second thing I learned was when you multiply or divide by a negative you need to switch the way of the inequality symbol, the way it is facing. They are easier than I thought they would be. What would happen if there was more than one inequality sign in an equation? Would it work or would it not?

Since the pretest a few things i have learned is, when dividing or multiplying by a negative you change the inequality sign. Another thing i learned was how to graph the point from the equation (the arrow tip was helpful). The 3rd thing i learned was just to treat it as an equation, when taking the pretest i didn’t even have a clue where to start. i found it interesting that we had to change the inequality sign when multiplying or dividing by a negative. i also found it interesting that the way the inequality points is the way your line on the graph goes. A question i still have is graphing with the open dot and closed dot. still a little confusing.

Since the pre test I’ve learned that to solve inequalities you go about it like how you would solve an equation. Also I learned to flip the inequality sign when you multiply or divide by a negative number. Another thing I’ve learned is how to rewrite them to get the variable in the front. I found it interesting when I found out how similar the solving of inequalities and equations are. Especially because I had no idea how to do them before. One thing I am still unsure of is how to graph them.

I have learned that you need to flip the sign when mulitplying or divideing by a negative number in an inequality. I have also learned that when you graph an equal to or more/less than sign you use a closed dot and for the more/less than sign you use an open dot. Another thing I learned was that an emty set numbers are numbers that don't equal to each other each like five can never be equal to 7 no matter what you do to the numbers they will never be equal to each other. One thing that is interesting is that emty set numbers can never be equal to each other no matter what you do to them. Another thing that is interesting is how inequality problems are solved just like normal algebraic problems except you change the equal to sign to a more/less than sign or equal to. I'm still confused on wich way (right or left) to graph inequalitys. Also Im confused on all reals.

I have learned many things sense the pre test.I’ve learned how to inequality questions very efficiently. Also when solving the problems u can treat the < or > signs like a = sign. I found it interesting that u flip the sign when a multiply or divide by a negative number. Before this class I never heard of that. One question/struggle I still have is the graphing part

I have learned a lot on how to solve inequalities . I have learned that you have to know when to add or Subtract and to make sure you look at the signs. I learned how to slove inequalities the right way with no problems. Also I learned how switch the signs if it was a negative. I found how the equation got set up very interesting. Also when we have to know if we have to multiply or divide it is very interesting. Is it if it less than of equal to is the circle colored in?

One thing I have learned is that when you divide or multiply by a negative number you have to flip the sign. Another thing I have learned is that you can switch the sides that the variable and the number are on as long as you make sure the inequality is still pointing at the thing it is supposed to. Also I have learned that you can use the inequality like an arrow to show which direction to point the arrow on the graph. Two things I found interesting were that nothing works in a empty set but everything works for all reals. One thing I was confused on is when you need to change the side of the variable and number and why.

I have learned that you have to switch the inequality sign when you multiply or divide by a negative number. i have also learned that you need to solve the inequality as an equation before you can graph it. lastly, i learned that if the inequality is correct then it is an all real number. one thing i found interesting is that even though they look intimidating, inequality are easier to solve. also, that you flip the sign when using a negative, as i never really knew that. a question i still have is how to answer a problem with a zero on either side.

Three things that I have learned since the pretest is how to graph inequalities. How to do the equation correctly. And now I also know that you have to switch the inequality sign. The things that I found interesting was that empty sets don’t equal each other because I thought that the answer would just be zero but it turns out that there is no solution. I also thought it was interesting when you had to change the sign, I do still get a little bit confused on that though. And a question that I still have is, ‘how do you know for sure when to change the inequality sign?’.

I’ve learned that you have to switch the sign when dividing/multiplying by a negative. I’ve also learned that when solving them, you basically solve them like you would a regular equation. Lastly, I learned that a closed dot on a number line meant including that number and an open one meant not including that number. I thought it was interesting how easy it was to be able to solve these (not as hard as I predicted). I also thought it was interesting that you flip the sign when you multiply/divide by a negative. I’m still kind of confused on the all real number and no solution ones though, so maybe we could go over them again?

I learned dividing or multiplying by a negative number you have to change the inequality sign. Greater/less than and greater/less or equal to have open or closed dots. I’m still confused about graphing the solution on a number line and the real number/no solution answers. During the pretest I didn’t know what to do for the problem so I just kept guessing or skipping the answers but now I know how to solve the problem using steps.

Three things I have learned since the pretest are that when dividing both sides by a negative number, you must reverse the inequality sign. Second, when solving, you basically solve like a regular equation o using PEMDAS. And lastly I learned that an open dot on a number line means that the point it’s graphed on is not a possible answer unless it is a closed dot. One thing I found interesting was that once we learned how to solve the problems, I knew how to do the protest because at first I had no clue what I was doing. Another interesting thing was how similar these problems were compared to regular equations. I do not have any questions or concerns regarding the lesson.

Ever since I took that pre-test, I have learned that you need to switch the inequality sign when multiplying or dividing BY a negative and not into a negative. That, for me, is easy to remember. Another thing I learned is that if the sign is either greater than or less than, you would graph with an open dot and a closed dot for greater than/ less than or equal to. One last thing I have learned is solving inequalities is very similar to solving equations if they aren’t the same thing. One thing I found interesting is when you flip the signs after multiplying or dividing by a negative. Another thing I found interesting is how you solve these inequalities like an equation. One thing that I have a question about is how to help remember a trick for graphing the inequalities like the open and closed circles and all that.

I have learned that when dividing or multiplying by a negative number in simplifying an inequality, you flip the sign. I have also learned that it is basically solving an equation except for that rule.I have also learned

Since the Pretest I have learned that when dividing or multiplying a negative number you must switch the sign the opposite way than it originally was.I have also learned that its basically the same as solving an equation except for that. Some questions I still have are if your multiplying a fraction it that is negitive would you flip the sign? Other than that I’m feeling pretty good!

How to read inequality lines. How to slove these problems. And how to put them on lines. That the circle would tell you if they were equal too or not. And that you can have variables. When do I flip the signs?.

I have learned that I add the two numbers together to find the variable verses the whole number. I have also learned that less than, greater than, or equal too signs are open circles. less than, or greater that signs are closed circles. One thing I find interesting is how detailed the rules are for graphing the point on the number lines. I also like how simple it is to find the number by adding the two other numbers to see if it is less than, greater than, or equal too. One question I have is when do you switch the sign? ( answered today because yesterday I was at band)

I learned when to flip inequality signs. I also learned that the inequalities are a lot like equations. I learned that when you divide by a neg number you flip the inequalities. I find it interesting how similar these are to equations. these are also really easy to graph. the only thing I struggle with is flipping the inequality sign.

I have learned that when you are multiplying or dividing a negative number you have to flip the sign. You can't have the variable a negative and if it is then multiply by a negative and switch the sign and if the variable isn't on the left side then flip it to the left side but keep the big gap or the tiny point facing the same direction as the variable as it was before you switched it. I found how similar it was to what we've been doing. It's just a different process but the same rules still applie. I don't have any questions. Thanks👍

Since the pretest I have learned about flipping signs. While doing the test I remembered half way through to act like it's (<) an equal sign, but I'd still count that as something I learned. I have also found out more about All Real and Empty sets. I do find those interesting. I also wanting more on flipping the signs so I guess that's something I'm interested in. since, I am a day late you have answered the majority of questions I have, one left to answer is, is when doing it w/ a fraction, you use the whole opposite of it (it's 2/3 it'd b 3/2)? It's silly, but I can't seem to remember that so I'm making sure. Thank u.

I have a learned how to flip the inequality symbol when you divide or multiply across an equation. Secondly, I have learned how to switch inequality symbols to where the variable is in front. I have also learned the difference between a closed dat and an open dot and what they represent. What confused me at first was flipping the symbol when you multiply or divide a negative number, but I got the hang of it and am ready fro the test on Friday!

Things I’ve learned from the pretest was that you flip the sign if you divide or multiply from the number with variable. Things I’ve found interesting was that it is the exact same step as solving an equation but with a < instead of an equal sign. I’ve done this in years passed but it is great to refresh me on how to do so. I have no further questions for inequalities, thank you.
