The Not So Secret Life of Mr. Harris
When I was completing the coursework for my Mathematics Teaching Endorsement, I had an Instructor named Dr. Michael Dekker.
Besides being a brilliant mathematician and great teacher, he had a dry sense of humor which I enjoyed immensely. He had linked his old personal website to his proper university website for all to read and enjoy.

Literary Devices
I love to read. Below is a sampling of some of things I have read lately along with a few all time favorites.
Verbal Emissions
I love quotes and will often use them in this room and on the athletic field for character development and inspiration. Here are some that are slightly ridiculous...
"...and don't do what the economists say. Why? Because they like math, and math is very much a part of the Axis of Evil." - Will Ferrell as George W. Bush on Saturday Night Live
"I heard the jury is still out on science." - Gob Bluth, Arrested Development
"I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid." - Red, The Shawshank Redemption
"You can't fight in here, this is the war room!" - President Muffley, Dr. Strangelove
"Can you give it a second to get back from space?" - Louie CK, Everything is Amazing and Nobody is Happy
