I feel pretty good about this chapter. I’m still having some issues with still is setting up the problems.but I feel good about solving them
one success is learning the lesson quickly.
One struggle is the “x-25” kind of questions I read the word problem wrong and then get lost.
My question for chapter 2 is if you could possibly help me either in class or email me how to do those kind of questions so I can get more of an idea, would that be possible?
One sucess is I am very confident with the "bucket method". One struggle is absolute value. A question is will we do more review tomorrow?
one success is that I’m able to solve the equations correctly after I set them up. I’m still having some trouble setting up the problems with the buckets. Can we do more problems in class like that tomorrow?
One success I have is converting the buckets to numbers
One struggle I have is to remember to bring down the signs with it
One question I have is the next chapter easy?
One success I have with this chapter is the absolute value questions and solving the equations/mixture problems after getting them all set up. A struggle I have is correctly setting up the equations for the buckets and putting all the numbers in the correct places, to be more specific I'm always iffy on the bucket problems that require the two answers rather than just one. Overall I don't exactly have any specific questions besides for a request that we go over more of the bucket problems involving the two answers.
I succeed at first part of chapter 2, with 6+x=-4, and things like that. I just cannot get the buckets in my head and that is a struggle. I am wondering why we use buckets, it seems by asking my siblings and the internet, we are very secluded. Is there a reason behind your choice?
One success I have with chapter 2 is equations. One struggle I have is those mixed problems, I always mix up what I put in what buckets. And one question I still have is "are there any tips/tricks I can learn to help myself with the mixed problems?"
I can almost get every single equation question correct. That’s a success. A problem is that I have a difficult time getting the information into the buckets. Sometimes I’ll do it right, but a lot of the time I’ll look over at someone else’s paper and they’ll have a completely different equation than me, because they put the information in the buckets differently. That’s the main cause as to why some of my answers are not the correct ones. A question I have is: is there an easy way to remember how to put information into the buckets? Any tricks? Thanks!
One success I have with this chapter is absolute value. One struggle I still have is the bucket problems. I never know what numbers to put in the buckets and when to multiply the numbers that are equaled to the other 2 buckets. Are we going to be doing more bucket questions tomorrow?
One succses I'm having is that I'm able to sort through the info and find what's nescesary. One trouble I'm still having is with the abousolute values and the two awnsers
One success is I can solve the problems pretty good but I have trouble setting up the buckets in some problems. Can we work on setting the problems up tomorrow?
In this chapter I have problems with setting up mixture problems. After that I feel good about solving the rest of the equation. I feel most comfortable with distance problems.
I was finally able to do a proportion for once, so that was a success. I struggled with the beginning question because I always forget that is means equals. One question I have is which numbers in a proportion are supposed to go on top.
I have a great feeling with the buckets and writing out the equations the one struggle I have is the find the percent change and discounted price. One question I have is how to tell if they form a proportion?
One success that I have in this chapter is that I know how to set up and solve percent of change. One struggle that I still have is solving some distribution problems. Can we do some review tomorrow in class?
A success I have is solving equations after they are set up and proportions. Something I still struggle with is setting up bucket problems, though I can easily solve them. Can we go over bucket and distance problems tomorrow?
One success that I have is distribution. One struggle I have is setting up the buckets. Can we review more tomorrow?
One success I have is that I know how to solve them successfully now. Something I struggle with is the buckets and how to set those up. One question I have is that can we do more practice tomorrow or go more in depth.
In chapter 2 I have struggled the most with setting up mixture problems correctly and solving the problem from there. I do understand proportions. Can we do more mixture and distance problems tomorrow?
One success I have are with solving the discount and tax problems. But, I’m still struggling with the setup of certain distance problems. A question I have is there a trick or something I could learn to help me with the setup of distance problems better?
One success I have is that I can solve the problems after I set them up, my biggest struggle is mixing up the placement of numbers which makes the entire problem incorrect and one question is can you do more distance problems tomorrow?
One success I had was setting up the bucket problems. One struggle I had was with distance problems. Can we go over a few more distance problems tomorrow?
I think that I have become very successful in setting up the problems and being able to put the info into the buckets, at the same time I struggle occasionally with remembering what to do with x. I wonder if there a context clues that could give hints as to what to do in the problem?
i can solve mixture problems once I get them set up correctly. the problem is I struggle with setting up the problem. is there something I am missing when I am working or is there a trick to doing these problems
I think the bucket method can be helpful and I feel I can set up the absolute value equations well. I feel like it can be confusing whether or not to use the bottom number/part of the 3rd "bucket". I still have questions on some of the finance investment problems.
One success I have in chapter two is solving distance problems. A thing I struggle is getting the right information from the mixture word problems and putting them in the buckets. A question I have is is there any tips or tricks for filling out buckets?
One success I have with this chapter is solving equations. A struggle I am having is knowing what to put in the buckets. Are we going to work on our notecard in class more?
One success I had was in percent change and distance problems. I struggle I have is doing the buckets and the equation afterward. One question I still have is how do you do find out the answer to a bucket question if it only gives you 1 bucket completed
One success I had in chapter two was doing % change. One struggle I had is with the buckets when to use the -x or +x. One question I still have is how do you set up the buckets correctly?
A sucess I have is the bucket problems. A struggle I have is writing out a distance equation. One question I still have is how you write out distance equations.
One success I had was putting words into equations. One struggle I had was the bucket method. One question I have is how to write out the distance problems.
One success for me is proportions. One struggle for me is absolute value . And one question is how to do absolute value because it confuses me
1 success I had was the distance problem, we didn't cover it much, but I understood it. 1struggle is the mixture problems, they are really difficult to set up and to solve. One question is could we review how to set up the mixture problems?
1 success was the percent change problems 1 question I still have are the distance problems 1 struggle was the mixer problems
One success I have is being able to complete the equation set up. One struggle is completely figuring out the problem correctly. And one question that I have is if we are going to go over our reviews.
1 success I had was setting up the buckets, 1 question I still have are how to do the distance problems, and 1 struggle I have is sorting everything out in the word problems
One success I have is that I know how to do that thing with original and change. One challenge I have is to putting things in the buckets. A question I have is how to pull info from the paragraphs.
"COULD NOT DO YESTERDAY BECAUSE INTERNET WAS DOWN AT MY HOUSE"
One Success I have is, I Somewhat get the "buckets"
One struggle is when they say solve using proportions
One question I have is how long will tomorrows test be
One success for me is the distance problems. One struggle for me is the set up of the bucket problems. One question is that is there a memorable trick for the bucket problems?
One success for me is the bucket problems
One struggle for me is when ever when I mess up the distance problems
One question is do we have a Quarter test?
One success for me is distance problems.
A struggle for me is sometimes i put the wrong numbers in the wrong buckets for bucket problems.
One question is will we study for the semester exam in January.
