One sucess is I am very confident with the "bucket method". One struggle is absolute value. A question is will we do more review tomorrow?

one success is that I’m able to solve the equations correctly after I set them up. I’m still having some trouble setting up the problems with the buckets. Can we do more problems in class like that tomorrow?

One success I have with this chapter is the absolute value questions and solving the equations/mixture problems after getting them all set up. A struggle I have is correctly setting up the equations for the buckets and putting all the numbers in the correct places, to be more specific I'm always iffy on the bucket problems that require the two answers rather than just one. Overall I don't exactly have any specific questions besides for a request that we go over more of the bucket problems involving the two answers.

I succeed at first part of chapter 2, with 6+x=-4, and things like that. I just cannot get the buckets in my head and that is a struggle. I am wondering why we use buckets, it seems by asking my siblings and the internet, we are very secluded. Is there a reason behind your choice?

One success I have with chapter 2 is equations. One struggle I have is those mixed problems, I always mix up what I put in what buckets. And one question I still have is "are there any tips/tricks I can learn to help myself with the mixed problems?"

I can almost get every single equation question correct. That’s a success. A problem is that I have a difficult time getting the information into the buckets. Sometimes I’ll do it right, but a lot of the time I’ll look over at someone else’s paper and they’ll have a completely different equation than me, because they put the information in the buckets differently. That’s the main cause as to why some of my answers are not the correct ones. A question I have is: is there an easy way to remember how to put information into the buckets? Any tricks? Thanks!

One success I have with this chapter is absolute value. One struggle I still have is the bucket problems. I never know what numbers to put in the buckets and when to multiply the numbers that are equaled to the other 2 buckets. Are we going to be doing more bucket questions tomorrow?

In this chapter I have problems with setting up mixture problems. After that I feel good about solving the rest of the equation. I feel most comfortable with distance problems.

I was finally able to do a proportion for once, so that was a success. I struggled with the beginning question because I always forget that is means equals. One question I have is which numbers in a proportion are supposed to go on top.

I have a great feeling with the buckets and writing out the equations the one struggle I have is the find the percent change and discounted price. One question I have is how to tell if they form a proportion?

I think that I have become very successful in setting up the problems and being able to put the info into the buckets, at the same time I struggle occasionally with remembering what to do with x. I wonder if there a context clues that could give hints as to what to do in the problem?

I think the bucket method can be helpful and I feel I can set up the absolute value equations well. I feel like it can be confusing whether or not to use the bottom number/part of the 3rd "bucket". I still have questions on some of the finance investment problems.
