I'll use 4+5x=14 +5x. Add the two numbers with variables, in this case the 5's, but subtract one of them, adding it to the other to create 0. So now add/subtract the numbers without variables, creating 10. Divide 10 by 0 to get 0=x.

To solve an equation with variables on both sides you combine like terms first. Then you get the variable on one side by subtracting or adding. Then you will solve the equation like a 2-step. At the end to get your final answer you will divide or multiple the number with the variable to get it by itself.

to solve a 2 step equation you combine like terms in needed. then you get variable on one side by adding or subtracting. then you solve equation like a normal 2 step equation. to get final equation you divide or multiply both sides by number with the variable. then when variable is alone the number on other side is the answer.

First, if there are any like terms, combine them. Get the variable on one side by adding or subtracting the x, usually on the right. Then you solve the equation like you would with a two step equation by multiplying or dividing the variable to get the variable by itself. Divide on both sides.

The equation I used is 6n + 3n= 25+ 4n. So you would first subtract 4 from to 6n. So now you have 2n+3n=25. You add the like terms 2n and 3n to get 5n. Then you divide 25 divided by 5. You should get n=5. That’s how you add like terms.

So you have your problem. Say it is 4x-34=5+6x. first you would combine like terms. So it would be 6x-4x which will equal 2x. Then you subtract both side by 5. So -34 would become -39, because you are adding a negative 5 to -34. After that you would divide 2x to -34 and x will equal negative 17.

I will use the equation 4x + 3= 2x+9. You need to pick a what side will have a x and the other will have a number. Subtrat the 2x from both sides. 2x + 3 = +9 now you have to subtract the 3 on both sides 2x=6. Now divide by 2 on both sides and you have x=3.

using 4+5x=14 +5x. Add the 5's but subtract one of them, adding it to the other to create 0. So now add and/or subtract the numbers without variables, creating 10. then divide 10 by 0 to get x=0.

To solve a two step equation you must find the lowest number and subtract it or add it to both sides. so you have your x’s on one side. Then you subtract the number on both sides so the x is only on one side. Then you get your answer and dived the x number to the other side and you get your answer.

I'll use 3x+6=15-3x. First you would add the negative 3x to the other side. Then you would have 9x+6=15. Next you would subtract 6 from each side. You would be left with 9x=9. After that divide 9 from each side and x would equal 1.

To solve an equation with variables on both sides you must combine terms. For example 2x+7=9x-4+3 you would combine the -4 and the 3 to give you -1. Then, personally, I take the larger coefficient and keep it... if you do this step correctly you should get 7=7x-1. Then add the one to the seven to give you 8=7x. From there you simply divide seven by eight.

In order to solve a two step equation the first step is to combine like terms on each of the sides. Then you have to pick a side for the variable and for the answer. You have to get all of the variables to one side and all the the numbers to another through PEMDAS. Then reduce your answer all the way and write it as X=a number.

Let’s say there is 4x on one side and 5x on the other. You could either subract 4x from5x or 5x from 4x to get your answer to the equation.

to solve a two step equation you need to get the variable by itself by subtracting it,adding it multiplying it, or dividing it. if you have a 4x for an example you would divide the other side to get the value of x.

First you need to find out what kind of problem it is. Once you see that you either need to divide multiply add or subtract. Once you do that you do that you put the variables on the same side so you can get down to a single variable. Then you have more simplifing untill you find your final anwser

First you find like terms and add or subtract them. Put them on one side and then subtract or add the numbers that dont have any variables to one side of the problem. Then once you have the problem looking like this (10x=80) you then have to divide the 80 by 10 to get 8. So x equals 8

First you have to either do the distributive property or combine like terms. When combining like terms make sure the variable is only on one side. Once you have a one step equation add/subtract the number without a variable to both sides. After that, divide on both sides to get your answer.

To solve an equation with variables on both sides you need to combine like terms on one side of the equal sign. Then you combine terms on the other side. You do this by adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. After you get that done you can figure out the answer.

So first you have to find the what type of problem it is. Like does it have variables on both sides or one side. If it have variables on both sides you have to combine like term when your done put it on one side then add the whole numbers and put it on the other side then divide by the number with a variable next to it. To the whole number and you should get something like x=2

I will use 15x + 7 = 2x - 4 as a example. To want you want to do is get all the values on one side and consents on the other. So what you would do to achieve this is you would minutes 2x but whatever you do on one side you have to do on the other so you would also have to minutes 2x from 15x so your problem would then be 13x + 7 = -4. Then to get the varubles on to the other side you would minus 7 and your problem would then be 13x = -11. So then you would divide 13x by -11 and the answer would be 1.18 repeating.

Ok, so to solve problems with variables on both sides, you would first combine any like terms on one side or distribute on one side. Then you would choose a side to have all variables, one to have all constants. Subtract/add the lesser amount to the side for the variables then do the same thing so you end up with variables on one side constants on the other ONLY. After that you would divide or multiply as needed.

For example: you have 4x + 3 = 5(x + 2). You would start by distributing to get 5x + 10 then subtract 4x from both sides. Then you would get 3 = x + 10, and you would subtract 3 from both sides therefore you should get -7 = x. If you get two variables, just combine them, same with numbers. (Idk what I'm saying lol)

When you are solving equations with variables on each side you must get all the variables on one side. You need to do this because if you didn’t you would end up with no numbers equal to your variables. An example is -3b=-9b+6. First you add 9 to -3. Which would end up being 6b=6. Then you divide 6 by both sides which is b=1.

Lets use 4x+5=6x+9 as an example, you start off with getting rid of the like terms. You can do that by either subtracting 9 from 5, or do it the other way around, subtracting 5 from 9. Now you have 4x=6x+4 or it would be 4x-4=6x. Next you do the same thing with 4x and 6x, and get 2x=4. Then finally you divide 2 on both sides, and get x=4.

First you would combine like terms fter you distribute if needed. The add/subtract the variable onto the variable side to get them from the constant side. Then subtract/add the constant on the variable side to the constant side. After you get the answer you will divide the variable answer with the constant answer to get the answer of x.

When solving an equation with a variable on both sides you need to start by getting rid of any parentheses that there might be. Following that you need to get all numbers attached to a variable and all normal integers on seperate sides of the equals sign through multiplication, division, addition or subtraction. After you have them on each side you need to combine like terms. Lastly follow through with the rest of the equation to recieve your answer.

When you have 2 variables on both side of an equation, you would have to first combine everything to the ones who are similar to themselves if not already. Once all is combined, take the lowest variable and add or subtract from both sides to each variable. If you have other numbers, get rid of them by doing their opposite; add to subtract, divide to multiple, etc. Once that is done, take the variables number away, and brake them up. You divide or multiply on both sides. Leaving you with one variable on one side and the other slide the answer.

First, you will use Distributive Property to eliminate parentheses. And then combine like terms on each side of the equation to simplify as much as possible. Eliminate the variable term on one side of the equation. And lastly, to solve the resulting equation by undoing operations to isolate the variable.

To solve a problem like 2-4x=6+4x you will have to put the variables on one side and the regular numbers one the other. To start add 4x to the left and then subtract 6 from two on the other side. After that you will end up with -4=8x divide both sides by 8 and x will then equal -1/2. So in the the end you have to use combine like terms and distribute the rest to get your solution.

To solve equations with variables on both sides you need to start by adding or subtracting like terms. For example if your equation is 5n+ 2= 6n you need to subtract 5n from both sides. This will leave you with 2=1n, the next step is to from there is to divided both sides by 1. This will end up with n=2. It may help to then check your answer by plugging in 2 for n. This would end up looking like this, 5 x 2 +2 = 6 x 2 and will equal out.

Let’s take 6x+4=-12x +10+14x for example. You would start by combining the like terms (6x+4=2x+10). Now that the like terms are combined you need to get the variables to one side and the constant on the opposite side. So for this I would recommend subtracting the 2x so we can keep the numbers positive (4x+4=10)! Then you solve it like a normal equation. Subtract 4 from 10, (4x=6). Then you would do 6 divided by 4, (6/4=1.5). So this means x=1.5! This is how you solve a equation with variables on both sides!

If we are doing the example -3(1+6r)=14-r, we would first multiply the -3 to the 1 and the 6r to get -3-18r=14-r. We then add 3 to the -3 and the 14 to get -18=17-r. Add the r to the -r and the -18r to get -17.

First, you would cancel out the number with a variable attached to it and add it to the other side. For example, if the equation was 3x + 14 = 9x - 4, you would subtract 3x from both the 3x and 9x to get 14 = 9x - 4. Next, you would cancel out the 4 and add it to the other side, so add 4 to -4 and to 14. 18 = 9x is the new equation. Lastly, you’ll divide 9x by 9 so you’ll get the variable by itself, and divide the 18 by 9 as well. You will be left with x = 2 as your answer.

Say you have 5x+3=1x-9. First step would be to subtract the 1x from the 5x. Therefore you’de have 4x+3=-9. Which at that point you would subtract 3 from -9. Then you have 4x=-12. Then, since the 4 has an x, you kist divide by the 4 (do to both sides). Therefore you get -3!

And then subtract or add a number or a variable and do the same to the other side and you will come down with a number on one side and a variable on the other side and to finish, multiply or divide both sides and end up with an answer like x=7

Solving equations with variables on both sides are very easy. First you have to combine all the variables and make sure they are on the same side. Then you add them up to get whole numbers on both side. Then you divide the number that is connected to the variable, and what you do to one side you do to the other, and once you do that you get your answer.

To solve an equation on both sides you first need to make sure you only have 1 variable and one number on each side. Then you have to divide the variable with a number by itself to move it over to the other side. Then you have to divide the varaible and the number on the other side. Then you should have your soloution.

Say your question is 3x-22=5-6x. The first thing you would do is add six x to both sides to cancel out the six on the left side. You now have 9x-22=5. Add twenty-two to both sides to cancel out the on twenty-two the left side. With only 9x=27 left, divide both sides by 9 to get an answer of x=3.
